Immediate aid for Anjita Amgain

Anjita Amgain from Okhle

We say thanks to the sponsor that we were able to send Anjita Amgain to the hospital. Now her arm will be ready to work 100 percent in the future.

Anjita Amgain broke her right arm in her parents home in Okhle on March 12th, 2011. She was driven immediately to the children‘s hospital in Kathmandu and was there for 5 nights. Her parents were not able to pay 360 Euro for the doctor and hospital treatment. In this case Anjita‘s arm was temporarily fixed and she was sent back to her parents in Okhle.

The amount for the hospital, transportation and the doctor was as follows:

  1. • 150 Euro for the hospital bed with nursing service in Kathmandu.

  2. • 75 Euro for the operation.

  3. • 72 Euro for medicine.

  4. • 26 Euro transportation from Okhle to Kathmandu and back (3x).

  5. • 34 Euro transportation for her parents from Okhle to Kathmandu inclusive overnight in Kathmandu.

  6. • Totalling about 360 Euro (dependant on the daily exchange rate between Euro and Nepal Rupee).
